This large stoneware bowl has a shape that begs to be touched. The sides swell into rows of soft, rounded bubbles, the rim rises and dips in scallops like the petals of a flower, and the whole bowl sits up on a short, sturdy foot. The outside is white, and inside a glossy contrasting glaze fills every hollow and catches the light in each one.
