Description

The Valenro is a 1000mm linear pendant built around 28 cylindrical alabaster shades arranged along a horizontal brass bar. Each cylinder is cut from natural Spanish alabaster and lit by a G4 lamp socket, giving 28 individual points of warm light across the length of the fitting. The bar is finished in Soft White & Brass and hangs from two vertical brass rods with sculpted, textured upper sections that meet a slim rectangular ceiling plate.

Designed for long dining tables, kitchen islands and boardroom tables of 1.6m or longer, the Valenro provides directed downlight along the full surface beneath it. The 1000mm bar length suits tables seating 6-10, and the 460mm overall drop (160mm fitting plus 300mm rod) places the alabaster cylinders at a typical 700-800mm above the table when fitted to a 2.7m ceiling. The G4 sockets accept standard low-voltage capsule bulbs, sold separately.

The alabaster shades are honed rather than polished, leaving the surface with a soft matt feel that reveals the stone's natural veining and tonal shifts. Translucency varies cylinder to cylinder, so once lit no two shades read identically, denser mineral areas hold light back while milkier sections glow through. The brass bar measures 210mm wide and carries the cylinders in two staggered rows, doubling the visual density without lengthening the fitting.
