Description

The Knightsbridge FP0100GM is a non-isolated TV outlet with a single female coaxial socket on a gunmetal ultra-flat faceplate. The non-isolated design means there is a direct connection between the aerial input and the output socket with no isolation capacitor, making it suitable for distribution systems where the TV outlet is the final point on a spur rather than a pass-through point in a loop-through installation.

Designed for residential and light commercial installations where a single TV or set-top box needs connecting to a rooftop or wall-mounted aerial, the outlet fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth. The ultra-flat profile sits just 2.5mm proud of the wall once installed, with a built-in gasket around the edge of the plate that seals against the wall surface to prevent dust ingress behind the faceplate. The premium-grade steel construction and gunmetal PVD finish provide a contemporary metallic accent that pairs with brushed nickel, graphite and dark-toned interiors.

The clamp and screw terminal at the rear accepts standard coaxial cable and includes an earth terminal for bonding to the back box. The 87.5mm square faceplate matches the standard UK single-gang footprint, allowing it to sit alongside other Knightsbridge Ultra Flat accessories in the same room without size mismatches. What's the difference between isolated and non-isolated TV outlets?

Non-isolated outlets provide a direct connection between the incoming aerial signal and the output socket, making them suitable as the final point on a spur in a distribution system. Isolated outlets include a capacitor that separates the DC component of the signal, allowing them to be used in loop-through installations where the signal continues to other outlets downstream. Use non-isolated outlets where the TV is the last device on the aerial run.

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed for safe installation. The ultra-flat faceplate adds only 2.5mm of projection from the wall once fitted, giving a total depth of approximately 27.5mm from the wall surface to the front of the plate.

Is the faceplate screwless?

No. The Knightsbridge Ultra Flat range uses visible fixing screws. The gunmetal finish extends to the screw heads to maintain a consistent tone across the faceplate.
