Description

The To-Be pendant light is a slim linear LED pendant: a single aluminium tube 65cm long and just 3.2cm across, finished in Brushed Bronze, with the light at its lower end. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and it gives 363 lumens with a CRI of 90, which keeps food, fabrics and skin tones looking true. It draws 5.3W or 7W depending on the version, and it comes in a choice of 3000K or 2700K: 2700K for the warmer, softer white, 3000K for a slightly crisper warm white.

We think it suits a dining room best, hung over the table, or a living room, beside a sofa or in a quiet corner, where its narrow line of light takes up almost no space. One pendant works over a small table; several hung at different drops make a striking group over a longer one. It hangs on a drop of up to 200cm. It comes in two canopy options: with canopy, ready to hang on its own from a canopy 5.5cm across, or without canopy, for multi-pendant canopies (sold separately), so a group can share one fitting on the ceiling. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms only.

The To-Be runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician, who should install it. The 24V DC version alone needs a remote 24V DC driver, not included and sold separately, which supplies the low voltage power that version runs on; it will not light without one. The Brushed Bronze finish sits well with warm woods, stone and deeper paint colours, and the slim tube keeps sight lines clear across a room. Before you order, measure from ceiling to table so you know the drop you need.
