Description

Tessa is a modern table lamp with an adjustable articulated arm and a dome shade, finished in matt black. The arm has two sections joined by small hinges, so you can angle and pivot the shade to put light exactly where you need it. The dome shade is aluminium, 11.5cm across and 13cm tall, and it directs light downwards and forwards onto the desk or table beneath it. The lamp stands 48cm tall and 50cm wide, on a round base 18cm across. It takes one E27 bulb, which is not included, so you can choose the warmth and brightness to suit the room.

We see it first on a desk or in a home office, where an adjustable dome is the most useful shape of all: tilt it over a keyboard, a notebook or a piece of craft work and the light stays on the task. It works just as well as a bedside reading light, a lamp on a hall console or a light on a side table beside the sofa. Its clean lines suit modern and Scandinavian rooms, and the matt black finish sits easily with oak, walnut, white walls or darker schemes. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The structure is iron and the shade is aluminium, both in the same matt black, so the arm, joints, shade and base read as one simple line. A 2m textile cable gives you some freedom in where the lamp sits, and it works on a plain on-off switch rather than a dimmer. It carries a 2 year guarantee.
