Takua Narrow Iron Display Cabinet - Dark Grey

A tall, narrow display cabinet in dark grey iron, 180cm high, 60cm wide and 31cm deep, with a single glazed door running the full height. Inside, five shelves divide that height. The door hangs on two hinges down one side and carries a long vertical bar handle set at about waist level. The shelves, the back and the outside are all the same dark grey, and the whole thing stands on four short square legs.

Sixty centimetres of width and 31cm of depth put this on a narrow wall, the run between a door and a corner or the gap beside a chimney breast, where a wider cabinet would not go in at all. That depth holds crockery, glassware and jars stood one deep rather than pushed back behind each other. At 180cm the top shelf is above eye level for most people.

The cabinet is iron apart from the glass in the door. Because the dark grey carries over the shelves and the back panel as well as the outside, the interior does not read as a lighter box once the door is open, and what stands on the shelves reads against a flat, dark ground. How do I look after it?

Wash the glass with warm soapy water or a glass cleaner and wipe the metal with a damp cloth, then dry and polish both with a soft cloth that is not abrasive. Keep harsh chemicals off it, do not knock the glass with anything hard or pointed, and stand it on firm, level ground away from extreme heat.
