Description

The Sophia is a 13x18cm photo frame with a cream-toned polyresin surround textured with hundreds of hand-applied resin beads. Each bead sits individually on the frame surface, building up an uneven organic pattern across the 45mm-wide border. The frame holds a 5x7 inch photograph behind glass and stands on a fold-out easel back for portrait or landscape orientation on tables, shelves and mantelpieces.

Designed for bedroom dressing tables, living room sideboards and hallway console tables, the Sophia suits interiors where a tactile accent piece adds interest without introducing strong colour. The cream tone sits between pure white and soft beige, pairing comfortably with neutral palettes, linen textures and pale wood furniture. The matt finish on the polyresin absorbs rather than reflects light, so the frame reads as soft rather than glossy under lamps or daylight.

The beaded surface is built up by hand during manufacture, meaning the exact pattern and density of beads varies slightly between individual frames. The polyresin construction gives the frame a 630g weight that prevents it tipping easily when stood on a shelf, and the material does not warp or crack with moderate knocks. The fold-out easel back includes a metal clasp for securing prints and glass behind the frame aperture.
