Description

The Solarium is a grey powder-coated ground spike designed to mount outdoor spotlights in soft ground installations where wall or surface fixing is not practical. The spike measures 35mm in diameter and drives into soil, lawn, or mulched beds to hold a compatible spotlight fitting at ground level or just above it.

Used in gardens, driveways, pathways and borders, the spike allows spotlights to be positioned directly into planting beds or lawns to uplight trees, wash light across facades, or define path edges. The spike is repositionable — it can be pulled and relocated seasonally or when replanting. The 35mm diameter suits most Ideal Lux outdoor spotlight housings that accept ground-mounting accessories.

The grey powder-coated finish resists corrosion from soil contact and provides a neutral tone that recedes visually in planted areas. The spike length provides stability in most soil types but may need additional backfill or compacting in loose or sandy ground. Ideal Lux covers the spike under a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
