Description

The Softie Check cushion earns its name the moment you pick it up. The face is worked in a raised grid, a lattice of soft pink cording laid over cream panels, so the pattern is something you feel as much as see. It measures 40 x 60cm, an oblong lumbar shape rather than a square, which is the size that props you upright on a sofa or fills the gap at the head of a bed where a square would sit too low. The whole thing is made from 100% polyester, chosen here for its plush, springy hand and its willingness to hold a quilted texture without flattening.

An oblong cushion does a particular job. It sits along the back of a two or three seater sofa, at a reading chair for the small of your back, or across a made bed in front of the pillows.
