Description

The Soft S/30 is a bell-shaped pendant light with an Olive Grey shade covered in a raised diamond texture, set off by a Textured & Black finish. It is made from aluminium and silicone, and a white diffuser sits across the open base of the shade, so the light falls gently onto the table or floor beneath. The shade is 24cm tall and 30cm across and hangs from a 200cm cable, giving an overall height of 228cm, with a round canopy 12.1cm across at the ceiling. It takes one E27 bulb of up to 15W, sold separately, which provides the light inside the shade.

As an outdoor pendant light rated IP44, it is protected against splashing water, so it suits a dining room or living room as well as outdoor positions such as a covered porch, a pergola or a garden terrace. Over a dining table, the 30cm shade keeps the light directed down onto the tabletop, and the 200cm cable gives plenty of drop for a room with a high ceiling. In a living room, a single shade over a reading corner or a window seat makes a cosy place to sit with a book. Outside, it brings the same textured shade and muted colour to the places where you sit and eat in the evening.

The fitting is made from aluminium and silicone, and the Olive Grey shade has a muted, matt tone that sits easily against wood, brick, concrete or plaster, indoors or out. It is a Class II fitting, which means it is double insulated, and it runs on 230V. It is powered from the mains, wired in by an electrician, so it is for a qualified electrician to install.
