Description

The Skybell Plus S/1L is a single pendant light: one small bell in Ebony Black, 6cm across, hung at a drop of 47cm to 200cm. The structure is iron and aluminium, and the bell tapers to a fine point at the top, so this black pendant reads as a dark line with light falling from its foot. Inside is an integrated LED of 4.2W giving 315lm at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 93, so colours and skin tones look true and there is no bulb to buy or change.

We like it in a dining room, hung low over the table, or in a living room beside a sofa or reading chair, where its small head gives focused light without filling the view. It also works on its own beside a bed, and hung in a row the slim bells light a long table or desk without clutter. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It comes with a choice of Surface canopy or Recessed canopy, with canopy sizes of 14cm and 12cm across, so you can pick a neat fitting on the ceiling or one set into it.

It comes in three dimming versions: LED, 0-10V dimmable; LED, TRIAC dimmable; and LED, DALI dimmable. Choose the one that matches your lighting control, as each works with a compatible dimmer or control of its own type. The Ebony Black finish sits over an iron and aluminium structure, and the design is by Estudi Manel Molina. It runs on 230V mains as a Class I fitting, and it is wired in by a qualified electrician. Settle on the drop before it goes up; after that, the integrated LED means there is no bulb to replace.
