Description

Sifan is a knot made to hang on the wall: a single rounded cord of polyresin looped, crossed and tied into a loose figure, with an open loop at the top and a wider ring at the base. The finish is beige, brushed so that streaks follow the curve of each loop, with fine flecks scattered across the surface. Made from polyresin and iron, the wall decoration is 13.5cm long, 3cm wide and 22cm tall and weighs 0.3KG, which makes it a small, light piece rather than one to fill a whole wall.

At 22cm tall it suits a narrow stretch of wall that a framed print would crowd: beside a doorway, between two windows or at eye level in a hallway.
