Description

The Knightsbridge SAT TV outlet provides a single F-type coaxial connection for satellite dish feeds, fitted behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate. The non-isolated feed supports signal return communication between the satellite receiver and the dish LNB, required for services that use interactive features or multi-satellite switching.

Designed for residential satellite TV installation, the outlet fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. The F-type connector accepts standard satellite coaxial cable with screw-on F-connectors, providing a more secure termination than push-fit alternatives. The outlet is certified to BS 5733 for broadcast signal distribution equipment.

The brushed chrome finish is 201 stainless steel with a directional brushed texture that softens reflections and pairs with both contemporary and traditional interiors. The screwless plate projects 11.8mm from the wall once fitted, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed faceplates. The built-in gasket around the plate edge reduces dust ingress and provides a defined edge where the plate meets the wall.

What does non-isolated mean on a SAT outlet?

A non-isolated SAT outlet allows signal return communication between the satellite receiver and the LNB on the dish. This is required for interactive satellite services, multi-satellite switching and some Sky HD setups. An isolated outlet blocks signal return and is used where multiple outlets are fed from a single LNB via a splitter.

What cable does it accept?

The F-type connector accepts standard satellite coaxial cable terminated with screw-on F-connectors. The clamp and screw terminal at the back of the outlet secures the prepared cable core and braid.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the outlet and re-clipped without disturbing the cable termination.
