Description

Rudi is a linear pendant light in matt white: a slim iron tube with a shorter, stepped section at its centre and natural wood caps at each end, hung on fine wires and a textile cable. The light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to fit or replace. It draws 32W and gives 5400 lumens through a wide 120° beam, a generous spread of light along the length of a table, and its colour rendering index of 90 or more means food, wood and fabric keep their true colours. We offer it in two colour temperatures, 3000K or 2700K; the 2700K version is the slightly warmer of the two.

Its long, level shape is made for something long beneath it: a dining table, a run of desks, a meeting table or a reception counter. The matt white body and pale wood suit modern and Scandinavian rooms, and the plain lines sit as comfortably in a home office as in a studio or shop. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is dimmable on DALI, so it needs a DALI control system or DALI dimmer; that makes it a natural choice for offices and projects already wired for DALI, and worth planning for at home.

The structure is iron in a matt white finish, and the end caps are natural wood, which warms the clean white line. Power runs through a 2m textile cable, and the fitting works on 220-240V mains. As a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install. It carries a 5 year guarantee. For styling, centre it over the table rather than the room, and let the wood caps echo a timber tabletop or oak chairs; in a white or pale room it reads as a quiet line of light.
