Description

The Royal linear chandelier sets three alabaster globes in a row beneath a slim horizontal bar of brass, in a Gold & Polished Brass finish. Each 10cm globe hangs from a short brass stem under its own 15cm brass disc, so the light glows softly through the stone while the disc forms a neat brass cap over it. The whole fitting is 90cm long and 21cm tall, with an 8cm canopy at the ceiling and a gold textile cable that curves down to one end of the bar. It has three G9 lamp holders, and we recommend G9 LED lamps no longer than 60mm, which sit neatly within the globes.

At 90cm long, it is made for a dining table, where three points of light run along the table rather than gathering in one spot at the centre. It works just as well over a long sideboard or a coffee table in a living room, and its clean, modern lines suit a pared-back interior as readily as a warmer scheme of wood and linen. The textile cable is 2m long. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and as a 220-240V mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install.

The base is brass, with a brass disc over each globe, finished in gold and polished brass, which sits comfortably with the gold textile cable. The globes are alabaster, each with its own soft veining through the pale cream stone, so no two look quite alike. It carries a 3 year guarantee. For styling, hang it centred along the length of your table and let the brass pick up warm timber, cane or brushed metal nearby, while the cream of the alabaster softens white walls and pale plaster.
