Description

The Roi is a compact flush wall and ceiling light, with a brass base and a ribbed glass shade, and it fixes to a ceiling or to a wall. The shade is a rounded dome of fumé glass, a smoked glass, with fine ribs running over its curve that catch the light and spread it in soft, glowing lines. It sits close against a slim base in polished brass, 2cm high and 10cm across, and the shade itself is 8.5cm tall and 12cm across, so it is a small, neat fitting rather than a large one. Inside is one G9 lamp holder, and the maker recommends a G9 LED lamp.

Because it fixes flush, with no stem, the Roi suits rooms where headroom is short: hallways, landings, box rooms and low-ceilinged bedrooms. Its small size makes it a good fit for tighter spaces too, such as a study, a reading corner or a walk-in wardrobe, and several fitted together along a corridor give an even rhythm of light.
