Description

The Roda S/200/V is a pendant light in the form of a vast upright ring, 200cm across, wrapped in a Cream Translucent Ribbon shade pleated in fine, close folds around a black inner frame. Its light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. The light comes through the ribbon as a soft glow, with 1053lm from 73.2W at 2700K and a CRI of 90, so wood, fabric and skin tones look true. The ring is 11cm deep, and it hangs from a round canopy 30cm across.

This is a pendant for a large room with the ceiling height to let it hang free: we picture it over a long dining table, or in a generous living room where its size becomes the focus of the space. It hangs on a maximum drop of 200cm. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is dimmable and comes in two dimming versions, a DALI dimmable version and a version that dims on an analogue control signal; whichever you choose needs a compatible dimming control to match. It also comes in two installation versions, one with a surface canopy and one with a remote driver, so you can pick the arrangement that suits your ceiling and your electrician's plan.

It is made from aluminium, steel and ribbon, the pleated ribbon set against the black frame so the ring reads clearly even when it is switched off. It runs on 230V mains, is a Class I fitting and is wired in to the mains by an electrician. Before you order, measure the room and the drop you want: at 200cm across, this ring needs clear space around it, and settling the dimming and installation versions with your electrician at the start makes the fitting straightforward.
