Description

The Roda S/150/V is a ring pendant light 150cm across, made to hang vertically so the whole circle faces the room. Its broad band is Cream Translucent Ribbon, finely pleated and 11cm deep, set around a dark inner ring. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. The ribbon filters it into a warm, even glow at 2700K, and a CRI of 90 keeps colours and skin tones true. It draws 55.2W and gives 930 lumens, a gentle ambient light rather than a bright working one.

A ring this size wants room around it, and we see it in a dining room or a living room, where it can be seen from across the space. Hung above a long dining table it frames the room with a soft circle of light; in a living room it gives a calm background glow for evenings. It hangs from a canopy 30cm across on a drop of up to 200cm, so you can set it at the height that suits the room. It comes in two installation versions, with a surface canopy or with a remote driver. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The fitting is made from aluminium, steel and ribbon, and it is a Class I fitting running on 230V mains power. It is wired in to the mains, so it should be installed by a qualified electrician. Every version dims: choose the DALI dimmable version to work with a compatible DALI control, or the other dimmable version with a compatible dimmer, so it matches the system already in your home. Settle on the installation version, surface canopy or remote driver, with your electrician before it goes in; with the LED integrated, there is never a bulb to replace.
