Description

The Roda S/120 is a ribbon ring LED pendant light, a wide horizontal hoop 120cm across and 6cm tall. Its shade is Cream Translucent Ribbon, finely pleated all the way round, with a dark inner frame tracing the inside edge. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: 44.4W giving 726 lumens at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 90 so wood, fabric and skin tones look true. It hangs on fine wires to a maximum drop of 200cm.

We would hang this pendant light over a long dining table or at the centre of a generous living room, where a 120cm ring has the space it needs and its glow spreads softly through the translucent ribbon. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The Roda S/120 comes in two installation versions: the surface canopy version, with a canopy 30cm across, and the remote driver version. It also comes in two dimming versions, one of them DALI dimmable, and whichever you choose needs a compatible dimmer to match.

The ring is made from aluminium and steel, with the ribbon shade wrapped around it, and it is a Class I fitting. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. The dark inner frame gives the cream ribbon a crisp outline, so the ring reads clearly from across the room even when it is switched off. Before you order, check your ceiling height against the 200cm maximum drop and leave room around the 120cm ring so it hangs clear of walls and furniture.
