Description

The Rocio is a 96cm linear bar pendant with five teardrop-shaped champagne glass shades suspended on individual cables from a matt black metal bar, each shade housing a 5W integrated LED. The glass shades contain decorative air bubbles trapped during manufacture, which soften the 3000K light and create visual depth when the pendant is lit. The internal LED reflectors are finished in glossy gold, visible through the tinted glass.

Designed for kitchen islands and dining tables up to 2m long, the Rocio provides both task and ambient lighting across a linear area. Each pendant drop is independently adjustable between 30cm and 145cm from the ceiling, allowing the five shades to be set at different heights for a staggered visual effect or hung level for a more uniform appearance. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer, providing control from full 25W output down to low ambient levels suitable for evening dining.

The champagne-tinted solid glass gives the pendant a warm tone under daylight that intensifies when the LEDs are switched on. The matt black bar contrasts with the glossy gold reflectors inside each shade, creating a two-tone scheme that pairs with both warm brass fixtures and cooler chrome or steel finishes elsewhere in the room. At 6.8kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings into joists or suitable ceiling anchors, and the 96cm bar projection means it needs at least 1.2m of clearable width when hung above a kitchen island or dining table.

The Rocio is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, Class 1 (earthed), and operates on 100-265V mains at 50/60Hz. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but carries a rated lifespan typical of modern LED modules. The 2.4lm lumen output stated in the specification appears to be a typographical error in the manufacturer datasheet and should read closer to 2,400lm for a 25W LED fitting — we recommend contacting us for clarification if lumen output is critical to your application.

Is the Rocio dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer. Not all dimmers work with all LED fittings, so check dimmer compatibility with the manufacturer before pairing, or contact us for recommendations.

Can the five pendants be set at different heights?

Yes. Each pendant drop is independently adjustable between 30cm and 145cm from the ceiling on installation, allowing you to create a staggered effect or hang them level. Once installed the heights are fixed unless the pendant is removed and re-fitted.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 30cm plus the shade height means the lowest point of the fitting sits approximately 50cm below the ceiling when hung at minimum. For a kitchen island or dining table, a typical setup has the shades 70-90cm above the worktop or table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The Rocio is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only and is not certified for bathroom zones where moisture and splashing occur. It should be used in dry living areas, dining rooms, kitchens away from direct sink splash, and hallways.
