Description

Our Rio Single Arm Wall Light gives you the look of a pendant from a fixing on the wall. A slim iron arm rises from a narrow wall plate and reaches out sideways, and from its far end a textile cable drops to a rounded dome shade that opens downwards. The iron is finished in green, a quiet colour that sits well beside wood, linen and plaster. It stands 46cm tall, and the dome shade is 16cm across and 15cm high, a compact size that suits close, everyday tasks. It takes one GX53 lamp.

Hung beside a bed, it brings light over the bedside table and leaves the surface free for books and a glass of water. Over a reading chair or a desk, it puts the shade right where you need it, and in a dining room it can hang above a sideboard or a small table set against the wall. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only: living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, studies and dining rooms all suit it. Its clean, modern lines sit comfortably in a contemporary home and are plain enough for a more traditional room too.

The structure is iron, finished in green, and the cable is textile, not plastic flex, a detail that matters when the cable is on view between arm and shade.
