The Rio Flush Ceiling Light is a compact single-light fitting in red. Its rounded dome-shaped shade fits flush to the ceiling on a slim round canopy. Its structure is iron, and the shade curves over at the top before falling straight at the sides to a wide open base, so the light is directed down into the room. It is 17cm tall and 16cm across, with an 8cm canopy, which keeps it small in scale and neat on the ceiling. It takes one GX53 lamp and works from an ordinary on-off wall switch at 220 to 240V.

With no stem hanging down, it keeps the headroom clear. That makes it a practical choice for hallways, landings, box rooms and other spots where a pendant would get in the way.
