The Rio is a compact ceiling light with a rounded bell shade in matt white, a simple, quiet shape that brings light to a room without crowding it. It fixes flush to the ceiling, with no stem, so the shade sits right up against the ceiling on a neat 8cm round canopy. The whole fitting is 17cm tall and 16cm across, and it takes one GX53 lamp, so any lamp you fit needs that same cap. The light falls downwards through the open base of the bell, and the shade's plain domed top keeps the look tidy from every side.

Because it is so compact, standing only 17cm tall, the Rio suits rooms where headroom matters: a landing, a hallway, a box room or a bedroom with a lower ceiling.
