Description

This is a table lamp with a simple outline. A slim iron stem rises from a round disc base, hooks over at the top and holds a dome shade that hangs down to throw light onto the surface beneath it. The arm is adjustable, so you can angle the light where you want it. It is finished all over in matt black, which keeps the look quiet and graphic. The lamp stands 45cm tall. The dome shade is 12cm across and 11cm tall, and the base is 19cm across, so it takes up very little room on a desk. It takes one GX53 lamp, and it is a plain on-off switched light, so there is no dimmer to think about.

We see it first as a desk lamp. The downward dome puts light onto paperwork, a keyboard or a book, which suits a home office, a study corner or a hallway console. It works just as well as a reading light on a bedside table, and its small base means it fits a narrow nightstand without crowding a glass of water or a phone.
