Description

This modern gold wall light from our Rigoberta range is built around a smooth, curved arch of iron with an alabaster globe at each end. The arch is held off the wall by a small round wall plate, 8cm across, and each end finishes in a 10cm globe of alabaster, a natural stone with soft, pale veining. The fitting stands 27.5cm tall and 26cm wide, and it projects a shallow 12cm from the wall, which matters in a narrow hallway or beside a bed. It has G9 lamp holders and we recommend G9 LED lamps; the maximum lamp length is 60mm, so check that figure before you choose a lamp.

It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry rooms only. That still leaves plenty of places where it earns its keep: either side of a bed in place of table lamps, along a hallway or landing, beside a mirror in a dressing room, or as a pair framing a sideboard in the dining room. The warm gold and the pale stone sit comfortably in a modern scheme, and they read just as well against a deep painted wall as on plain white plaster. It runs on 220-240V mains, so it is one for a qualified electrician to install.

The structure is iron with a gold finish, the shades are alabaster and the cable is textile covered. Because alabaster is a natural stone, its markings are its own, so the veining on your globes will not match another fitting's exactly. It carries a 3 year guarantee.
