Description

This is a wall light from our Rigoberta range. It is built from a slim cylindrical bar with a round disc at each end, finished in matt white. The structure is iron and the glass is opal, so the light comes through soft and even rather than sharp. It is an indirect wall light: instead of shining straight into the room, it throws a gentle glow that reads as calm background light. It takes one GX53 lamp, and its shade is 8cm across. Overall it stands 26.5cm tall and projects just 9cm from the wall, so it sits close and neat.

Its shallow 9cm projection makes it a good fit for hallways, landings and narrow passages, where a deeper fitting would get in the way. In a living room it adds a soft layer of light alongside a ceiling light, and in a bedroom a pair either side of the bed gives a restful glow for winding down. The clean geometry suits modern interiors, and the matt white finish lets it sit quietly against pale walls. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it runs on mains voltage of 220 to 240V.
