Description

The René is a modern wall light built around one long, linear arm: a straight, slim bar in matt black that reaches out from a small wall bracket, with a fine tension rod running back up to the wall to hold it level. The arm is adjustable, a swing arm that pivots at its bracket, so you can bring the light to where you need it. Its integrated LED needs no bulb and gives 1000 lumens from 12W at a warm 3000K, with a CRI of 90 or more, so colours, wood and fabrics look true beneath it. A wide 120° beam spreads that light rather than narrowing it to a spot.

It suits rooms where you want light reaching out over something: beside a bed, over a reading chair or sofa, or across a desk or a console in a hallway. The long reach makes it useful where there is no space for a floor lamp or a table lamp, and the line of black against a pale wall gives a room a clean, graphic edge. It is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry rooms, and it works from an ordinary on-off switch rather than a dimmer, so choose it where you want simple, steady light at the flick of a switch.
