Description

Our Reiko is a dome ceiling light: a yellow aluminium shade curves down from a round base of natural ash wood, and the pale grain of the ash gives the yellow metal a warm, natural edge. The dome is open at its rim, so the light from its single E27 lamp holder falls down into the room rather than out to the sides. It is 16cm tall and 21cm across, and the wood base that meets the ceiling is 11.5cm across. It takes one lamp with an E27 cap, the common large screw cap, so you have a wide choice of lamps to fit it.

It fits flush to the ceiling with no stem, and at only 16cm tall it keeps the headroom that a hanging pendant would take. That makes it a good choice for hallways, landings, a bedroom with a lower ceiling or a study. Its modern, Scandinavian look sits well with pale floors, white walls and simple furniture, and the yellow brings a cheerful note to a child's bedroom or a reading corner in a living room.
