Ravello Marble Candle Holder 21cm - Black & White

The Ravello is a 21cm marble candle holder built from two contrasting marble sections — a black veined marble cone at the top and a white marble cone at the base — joined by a brushed brass collar. The top cone holds a standard pillar candle and shows natural white mineral veining through the black marble, while the lower white marble section provides a stable 10cm square footprint.

Designed for dining tables, console tables and mantels where a monochrome palette is desired, the Ravello pairs decorative mass with functional candle holding. The 2.22kg weight gives the holder stability under the heat of a burning candle without needing additional anchoring. The inverted double-cone form keeps the centre of gravity low and prevents tipping even when a tall pillar candle is seated in the top recess.

Each Ravello shows different veining and mineral distribution in both the black and white marble sections, as both are cut from natural stone rather than composite or resin. The brushed brass collar sits between the two marble cones and is powder-coated aluminium underneath the brass finish, reducing the overall weight while maintaining the visual presence of solid metal banding. The black marble accepts heat from the candle flame without discolouration, though wax drips should be cleaned promptly to avoid absorption into the stone's pores.

What size candle does it hold?

The top recess holds standard pillar candles up to approximately 9cm in diameter. The recess depth is approximately 2-3cm, providing enough seating to keep the candle stable but shallow enough that most of the candle remains visible above the holder.

Is the marble sealed?

The marble is unfinished natural stone. Wax drips should be cleaned promptly with a dry cloth or gentle scraping once cooled, as prolonged contact can allow wax to absorb into the stone's pores. Avoid water-based cleaners or soaking the marble.

Does the brass tarnish?

The brass-finished collar is powder-coated aluminium underneath, so it does not tarnish like solid brass. The finish can be wiped clean with a dry or barely-damp microfibre cloth.

Will the marble veining match the image?

No. Each Ravello is cut from natural black and white marble, so the veining pattern, mineral distribution and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is characteristic of natural stone, not a defect.
