Description

Ramina is a candle holder made of polyresin in a soft beige, built around one tall, slender stem that rises from a flared foot to a socket for a single taper candle. Two rounded arms loop out from the stem and curve down to meet the base, drawing an open outline on either side, so the piece reads as much like a small sculpture as a candlestick. It is 19.5cm long, 8cm wide and 21cm tall, and weighs 0.45KG, light enough to move from table to shelf without a second thought.

At only 8cm wide, it fits a narrow mantelpiece, a windowsill or the front edge of a bookshelf, places where a broader holder would crowd things. On a dining table or a sideboard it gives you one tall, quiet flame, and once a taper is in place the whole piece gains real height, enough to hold its own beside vases, books and trailing plants.
