Description

The Raisa is a modern wall light built around a long swing arm, with a fabric drum shade hanging from its tip on a fine textile cable. The arm reaches out from its wall bracket and swings out across the room, so the light hangs where you need it rather than sitting flat against the plaster. It is adjustable at the bracket, pivoting to bring the shade over a chair or back in towards the wall. The iron structure and arm are finished in matt white, and the white fabric drum shade, 45cm across and 20cm tall, softens the light it gives. It has one E27 lamp holder, the standard large screw cap.

Because the shade hangs out from the wall, the Raisa does the job of a pendant without a ceiling point above. Set it beside a sofa or an armchair in the living room and swing the shade over the seat for reading, or place it over a window seat or a banquette in a dining room, where the drum shade gives a soft, even glow at table height. In a bedroom it works beside the bed, swung in when you want light on a book and pushed back when you do not. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.
