Description

These are fluted LED candles, sold as a pack of two, in white with a paraffin finish. Each one is a slim taper 2.2cm across and 24.5cm tall, the proportions of a classic dinner candle, so it sits in the kind of candlestick made for wax tapers. Fine vertical fluting runs the full length of the body and deepens into a ribbed collar at the base, while the top carries a flame-shaped tip that glows when lit. Because the outer layer is paraffin, the candles have the soft, matt look of real wax rather than the shine of plastic.

They suit anywhere a pair of tall candles belongs: either end of a mantelpiece, a sideboard, a deep windowsill or the centre of a dining table laid for guests. Being battery powered, they need no plug or socket nearby, so they can stand wherever the room looks best rather than where the wiring allows.
