Description

These are four Christmas mugs in glazed stoneware, sold together as a set of four, each holding 300ml. Around the green body runs a parade of angel mice with haloes and little wings, one carrying a candle, one playing a trumpet and another a harp, beneath a scalloped band at the rim. The inside and the rounded handle are glazed in a contrasting shade, which shows each time you look into your drink. Each mug is 9.5cm across and 8cm tall, slightly wider than it is high, with a gently tapering body that sits comfortably in cupped hands.

At 300ml this is a proper everyday mug size, roomy enough for a full cup of tea, a milky coffee or a hot chocolate. A matching four suits a family breakfast or a few friends round on a winter afternoon, and we think they make an easy gift for anyone who keeps a cupboard of Christmas things.
