Description

Ottine is a round bamboo lantern shaped like an old storage pot: a full, rounded body that narrows to a short, flared collar at the top. It is woven from 100% bamboo in Natural, with slim horizontal strips worked round upright ribs. A round opening sits low on one side, framed by a braided border. Light from a candle inside passes through that opening and through the gaps in the weave, so the glow comes out in soft lines rather than one bright pool. It measures 25cm across and 26cm tall and weighs 0.3KG, light enough to carry from the table to the doorstep.

This is an outdoor lantern, made for the places where summer evenings are spent: a terrace table, the gravel beside a garden bench, the edge of a path or the step by the front door.
