The Orbis is a 46cm diameter disc sculpture in white matte resin, mounted on a narrow metal stand that brings the piece to 58cm total height. The disc surface is carved with hundreds of radial grooves that radiate from a central point, creating a textured starburst pattern where each groove catches light differently depending on viewing angle.

Designed for display on console tables, windowsills and narrow shelving where its 12cm depth footprint allows it to sit without dominating floor space, the Orbis works as a centrepiece in contemporary and minimalist interiors. The narrow stand keeps the disc elevated and visually separated from the surface beneath, allowing the carved pattern to be appreciated from multiple angles when positioned in front of a plain wall.

Each piece is cast in resin and the surface grooves are hand-carved post-casting, so the exact depth, spacing and finish of the radial pattern varies between individual pieces. The matte white finish shows no gloss or sheen, which keeps the focus on the three-dimensional texture rather than reflective highlights.
