Opus Concrete-Effect LED Table Lamp - White

We stock the Opus as a sculptural table lamp built around a curved white metal frame with a heavily textured, concrete-effect finish that looks like carved stone or plaster. The frame forms a continuous loop with a frosted glass panel set behind the opening, and a single G9 bulb (sold separately, up to 28W) sits behind that glass so the whole frame reads as a soft, diffused glow rather than directed task light. It runs on 220-240V standard UK mains.

We think of the Opus as ambient and decorative lighting rather than a working task lamp, so it suits a bedside table, a console in an entrance hall, or a side table in the living room where you want a piece to look at alongside a low background light. The matt white, ceramic-like texture sits comfortably with minimalist, Scandinavian and organic-modern rooms, and the recesses in the frame catch daylight during the day before softening under the lamp's own warm glow in the evening.

The frosted glass diffuses the G9 bulb evenly, so you get a smooth wash of light without hotspots or a visible filament. The lamp carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use only, and it is not dimmable, so it runs at a single fixed brightness. The bulb is not supplied, which lets you pick your preferred colour temperature in a G9 rated up to 28W.

Product datasheet

What bulb does the Opus table lamp take?

It takes a single G9 bulb rated up to 28W, which is sold separately. That lets you choose your own colour temperature to suit the room.

Is it dimmable?

No. The Opus runs at a single fixed brightness and is not dimmable, so we would not pair it with a dimmer switch.

Is this lamp cordless or rechargeable?

No, it is mains-powered. It plugs into standard UK mains at 220-240V rather than running on a rechargeable battery.

Where is it suitable to use?

It is rated IP20 for dry indoor spaces only, such as bedsides, hallway consoles and living-room side tables. We would not use it in a bathroom or outdoors.
