Description

We stock the Olo Ring as a compact 6W LED wall light in a warm brass finish, named for the concentric rings on its front face. The integrated LED sits behind a ring diffuser that channels light forward in a controlled 120 degree beam rather than spilling it up and down the wall. You can pick the tone that suits the room, since it runs at 2700K, 3000K or 4000K and gives between 380 and 438 lumens depending on the colour temperature, at 80 CRI for accurate colour rendering in the home.

We would fit this in a hallway, beside a headboard in the bedroom or in a living space where you want accent or task light close to the wall. The forward-throwing 120 degree beam keeps glare in check, which helps for a focused reading position or a corridor, and the concentric rings give a layered look on the front face even when the LED is off. It mounts against the wall with all the wiring concealed behind the backplate, so it reads as a clean fitting whether it is lit or not.

The brass finish shows as a warm golden tone that shifts slightly with the ambient light. The driver is non-dimmable and runs on standard UK 220-240V AC 50Hz mains, and the metal construction stands up well in high-traffic spots where a wall light might get knocked. It carries an IP20 rating, so it is for interior dry locations only, and sits in energy class F.

Frequently Asked

Is it dimmable?

No. The Olo Ring runs on a non-dimmable driver, so it gives a fixed output at full brightness rather than adjusting on a dimmer.

What colour temperatures does it offer?

You can run it at 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, giving you a choice from a warm white through to a cooler, crisper white to suit the room.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only. We would not use it anywhere exposed to damp or weather.

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace. It runs on standard UK 220-240V AC 50Hz mains and draws 6W.
