Description

The Noren S/151 is a long fabric LED pendant light: a shallow oval panel covered in Light Grey fabric, hung on two fine wires from a slim ceiling canopy. The panel is 151cm wide and 35cm tall, with a projection of 21cm, and the canopy is 154cm across. The drop adjusts from 85cm to 335cm. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives a warm white 3000K with a CRI of 95, which keeps wood, fabric and skin tones looking true. We sell it in two versions, direct light or direct and indirect light. Depending on the version it draws 20.5W or 27.5W and gives 498 or 1141 lumens.

Its length makes it a natural choice over a long dining table, where one fitting lights the whole run of places. It suits a large living room just as well, hung low over a seating area. The panel is built with a sound-absorbing foam, so as well as lighting the room it helps soften the echo of hard floors, large windows and bare walls. It dims by DALI, so it needs a compatible DALI control. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The design is by Estudi Manel Molina. The panel brings together aluminium, MDF, sound-absorbing foam and a thermoplastic fire-resistant fabric, which gives the Light Grey surface its soft, finely textured look, and the slim canopy keeps the ceiling line neat. It runs on mains power at 277V DC, is a Class I fitting and is wired in by a qualified electrician. Before it goes up, measure from ceiling to tabletop and check there is clear ceiling space for the 154cm canopy, so your electrician can set the drop where you want it.
