Description

The Noren S/151 is a long fabric LED pendant light in Dark Grey: a softly curved panel that hangs level beneath a slim ceiling canopy. The panel is 151cm wide, 35cm tall and 21cm from front to back, and the canopy measures 154cm. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives a warm 3000K white with a CRI of 95, so food, wood and skin tones look true. We offer it in two versions, direct light or direct and indirect light. The power is 20.5W or 27.5W and the output 421lm or 965lm, depending on the version you choose.

At 151cm wide, it is made for a long dining table, where the panel lights the table along its length. It works just as well over a sofa or a reading area in a living room. The drop runs from 85cm to 335cm, so it can hang low over a table or sit higher in a room with a tall ceiling. Because the panel includes a sound-absorbing foam, it also helps soften echo in an open dining room or a living room with hard floors. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The Noren S/151 is built from aluminium, MDF, sound-absorbing foam and a fire-resistant thermoplastic fabric, which gives the panel its soft, matt textile surface. It was designed by Estudi Manel Molina. It runs on mains power at 277V DC and is a Class I fitting, wired in by a qualified electrician. It is DALI dimmable, so it dims through a compatible DALI control rather than an ordinary wall dimmer. It is worth planning those controls with your electrician and settling on direct or direct and indirect light at the same time.
