Description

The Nari is a compact ceiling light built around a slim cylindrical shade on a short adjustable arm, so you can angle its light exactly where you want it. Its iron structure is finished in matt black, and it takes one GU10 lamp. Lamps are not included, so you can choose the GU10 bulb that suits the room. We sell it in two sizes. The 8cm size has an 8cm canopy and a shade 4cm across and 8cm long. The 16cm size has the same 8cm canopy and a shade 4cm across, but its shade is 16cm long.

Because the shade pivots on its arm, the Nari is a directional light. Point it at a picture, a bookcase or a favourite reading chair, or tilt it to wash light down a wall. The 8cm size keeps a low profile in a hallway, on a landing or in a small study, while the 16cm size has a little more presence above a dining table or in a living room. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. Its clean, modern lines suit a contemporary home, and a few of them spaced along a ceiling give a neat run of accent light.

The structure is iron with a matt black finish, a smooth, even surface that reads crisply against a pale ceiling and quietly against a dark one.
