Description

The Nans Sphere PF/80 is a woven outdoor ceiling light: a generous round globe of open lattice, 80cm across and 76cm tall, held on a 25cm stem so the whole fitting is 101cm tall. The structure is Graphite Brown and the shade is Beige (with Light Blue and Light Grey). Inside sits an integrated LED of 24W, giving 722lm of warm 2700K light, and with a CRI of 90, faces, food and planting keep their true colours beneath it. Because the LED is built in, there is no bulb to buy or change.

Rated IP54 and made for outdoor use, it suits a covered terrace, a porch, a veranda or a pergola, wherever you want one large light overhead after dark. Its size makes it a natural match for larger spaces and higher ceilings: above a long table set for summer dinners, over a wide entrance, or at the centre of an outdoor seating area where a smaller fitting would look lost. It is a single light, so one globe gives the whole space a clear centre. It is TRIAC-dimmable with a compatible dimmer, so you can turn it down to a softer glow as the evening goes on.

The Nans Sphere PF/80 is made from stainless steel, aluminium and synthetic fibre, and the Graphite Brown structure sets off the paler woven shade. It runs on 230V mains power and is a Class I fitting, wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. One practical note on placement: with a sphere 80cm across and the whole fitting 101cm tall, check there is enough clear height beneath it, so people walk comfortably under the globe rather than around it.
