Description

The Nans Sphere PF/60 is a woven outdoor ceiling light: a generous round shade of synthetic fibre in Red (with Orange and Beige), held close to the ceiling on a rigid Graphite Brown stem 25cm long, from a round canopy 12cm across. The sphere is 60cm across and 57cm tall, and the whole fitting is 82cm tall. Inside sits a 14W integrated LED giving 393lm of warm 2700K light, so there is no bulb to buy or change. The open weave lets the light glow through the shade, and with a CRI of 90, colours beneath it look natural.

It is rated IP54 and made for outdoor use, so it suits a porch, a covered terrace, a veranda or a pergola, anywhere you want a soft glow overhead in the evening. At 60cm across it has real presence, so it works best where there is space around it: above an outdoor dining table, over a seating area or at the centre of a loggia. The Red (with Orange and Beige) weave brings warmth to stone, timber and planting alike, while the Graphite Brown stem keeps the fitting looking neat against the ceiling.

It is made from stainless steel, aluminium and synthetic fibre, with the fibre woven into an open lattice that gives the sphere a light, airy look. It runs on 230V mains and is TRIAC dimmable, so with a compatible dimmer you can bring it down to a gentle glow for late summer evenings or turn it up when you are eating outside. It is wired in to the mains, so have a qualified electrician fit it to your outdoor ceiling; once it is up, the integrated LED means there is no lamp to replace.
