The Nans S/21 is a woven outdoor pendant light. It is a softly rounded cylinder of synthetic fibre in Brown (with Beige and Light Grey), hung from a Graphite Brown structure. The open lattice lets the light spill through in a warm, patterned glow. Inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 9.5W and gives 386 lumens at 2700K, a warm white. Its CRI of 90 means food, faces and fabrics keep their true colours. The shade is 24.7cm tall and 21.6cm across, and the pendant hangs on a drop of between 40cm and 200cm.

It is rated IP54, which means it is protected against dust and splashing water, so the Nans S/21 suits outdoor use as well as indoor rooms. We like it hung over a table on a covered terrace or patio, under a pergola or in a porch. There its woven shade brings a relaxed, summery warmth to evening meals. Indoors it is just as much at home over a dining table or in a living room, and two or three in a row work well along a long table. It is dimmable (TRIAC) on a compatible dimmer, so you can turn it down low for a late supper.

It is made from stainless steel, aluminium and synthetic fibre. The Graphite Brown structure holds a fibre shade woven into an open diamond lattice that has the warmth of a basket and is made for life outdoors. It runs on 230V mains and is a Class I fitting, wired in by a qualified electrician. Once it is up, there is no bulb to replace, only the light to enjoy.
