Description

The Nans PF/31 is a woven LED outdoor ceiling light: a single rounded, barrel-shaped shade that sits close to the ceiling on a short stem below a round ceiling plate. The structure is finished in Graphite Brown and the shade is woven in Brown (with Beige and Light Grey), an open lattice that lets the light glow through the weave. It stands 37.7cm tall overall, and the shade itself is 30.7cm tall and 31.5cm across. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to change. It is 9.5W and gives 265 lumens of warm 2700K light, with a CRI of 90 so colours and skin tones look natural.

It is rated IP54, so it suits outdoor use: under a porch roof, on a covered terrace or patio, or beside a garden door, wherever you want a soft, welcoming glow rather than a bright floodlight. At 265 lumens it is a mood light more than a working light, good for marking an entrance or lighting a seating area on evenings outside. It is TRIAC dimmable, so with a compatible dimmer you can bring it down to a low glow. It suits anyone who loves the relaxed, natural look of a woven shade and wants one rated for outdoor use.

The structure is made from stainless steel and aluminium in Graphite Brown, and the shade is woven from synthetic fibre in Brown (with Beige and Light Grey). The strands cross in a lattice that gives it depth by day and glows softly after dark. It is a Class I fitting, which means it is earthed, and it runs on 230V mains. It is wired in by a qualified electrician, and everything it needs to light up is in the fitting, with nothing to buy separately. Add a compatible dimmer if you want to dim it, and the integrated LED does the rest.
