The Murané is a pendant light made around a single sphere of transparent glass, 15cm across, with a gently rippled surface that catches and bends the light as it passes through. A small cap in a Brushed Champagne finish meets the top of the glass, and the sphere hangs on a fine cable with a drop of up to 300cm. Inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 167lm of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, which keeps colours in the room looking true, and it draws 2.7W or 4W depending on the version.

This is a gentle, decorative light rather than one to fill a room, and it suits a dining room or a living room: hung low over a dining table, beside a favourite chair or in a corner that needs a soft glow. It comes in two versions. The version with canopy hangs on its own from a canopy 5.5cm across and 13cm tall. The version without canopy is made for multi-pendant canopies, sold separately, so several spheres can hang together from one canopy. The low-voltage version needs a remote driver, not included and sold separately, which supplies the pendant with the power it runs on; it will not work without one. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.
