Murané is a small glass sphere pendant light, 10cm across, in transparent glass with a textured surface that catches the light. The sphere hangs from a Brushed Champagne cap on a slim cable, and the light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 167 lumens at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so colours and wood look true beneath it. Depending on the version, it draws 2.7W or 4W.

We like it over a dining table, or in a living room beside a favourite chair, where a small sphere of warm light suits a quiet corner. It hangs on a drop of up to 300cm, so it can sit low over a table even from a high ceiling. It comes in two versions. With canopy, it has its own ceiling canopy, 5.5cm across and 13cm tall, and hangs on its own. Without canopy, it is made for multi-pendant canopies, sold separately, so several spheres can hang together from one canopy on the ceiling. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The sphere is transparent glass, and the cap at its top is finished in Brushed Champagne, a soft, warm gold tone that suits the clear glass and the warm light inside it. The pendant runs on mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician. Only the 24V DC version needs a remote 24V DC driver, which is not included and is sold separately: the driver supplies the power that version runs on, and the pendant will not light without it, so order the two together. As a practical note, with no bulb to buy, it is ready to light the room once it is installed.
