Description

The Mora is a King size duvet cover woven from hemp and organic cotton, 225 by 220cm. The ground is a warm natural oatmeal carrying a fine dark warp stripe all the way across it, and at intervals that fine stripe gives way to a broader cream band edged on both sides with a single grey line. It fastens on flat round buttons rather than on poppers or a concealed closure.

On a made bed the stripe runs head to foot rather than across, so the cover reads as a set of long lines down the bed with the wider cream bands falling either side of the centre. The weave is plain and openly textured, and hemp is naturally breathable. At 3kg the King is a substantial cover to handle and to hang.

Hemp and organic cotton, made in Portugal. Hemp grows on very little water and without chemical treatment, and the organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or GMOs. This is the duvet cover alone: the pillowcases shown are a separate part of the Mora range and are sold as a pair. It arrives folded in a fabric bag, which can be kept for storing it or used as a garment bag. The Mora duvet cover also comes as a Double at 200 by 200cm and a Super King at 260 by 220cm.

Frequently Asked

What size is the King cover?

225 by 220cm. The range also runs to a Double at 200 by 200cm and a Super King at 260 by 220cm.

How does it fasten?

On flat round buttons along the opening edge.

Are the pillowcases included?

No. This is the duvet cover on its own. Mora pillowcases are sold separately, as a pair.

What is it made from, and where?

A blend of hemp and organic cotton, woven and made up in Portugal.

How should it be washed?

The temperature on the care label is the maximum the fabric will take, so a cooler wash is safe and uses less energy. Always follow the labelling on your own product. Line drying gives the best result, or tumble on low and take it out promptly. The fabric softens with every wash, and a gentle fabric softener can be used now and then if you want it.
