The Montrose is a 25cm cast aluminium vase formed from individual square segments that interlock across the surface in a randomised pattern. Each segment is cast separately and hand-joined, creating a faceted exterior where some squares sit flush while others project slightly forward, giving the vase a three-dimensional surface texture. The antique gold finish is applied by hand, so tonal variation between the smooth and textured segments adds depth to the metallic surface.

Designed as a decorative object rather than a functional vase, the Montrose is not watertight and cannot hold fresh flowers or water. It works as a standalone sculptural accent on console tables, mantels, shelving units and sideboards where height and metallic warmth are needed without introducing live plants.
