Description

This is a set of five brown paper Christmas tree decorations, each built from finely folded paper that fans out into tiered branches. No two are the same height. The tallest stands 22.5cm tall and 8cm across; next comes one 20cm tall and 12.5cm across, the broadest of the five. Then there are trees 17.5cm and 12.5cm tall, both 7.5cm across, and the smallest is 9cm tall and 5cm across. Most have three or four broad tiers, while one is stacked with many narrow ones, so together they read as a little forest rather than a row of copies.

Because they stand on their own, they suit any flat surface where you want some Christmas without a full tree: along a dining table, on a sideboard or bookcase, on a hall console or a deep windowsill. Spread them down a table runner with a little greenery between them for a centrepiece, or cluster them at one end of a shelf. With heights from 9cm to 22.5cm, they fit a small flat or a bedside table as happily as a long family table, and the soft brown sits easily alongside wood, linen and fresh greenery.

Each tree is made of paper with a print finish, and the whole set weighs 0.15KG, so they are easy to lift and rearrange whenever you like. The folded construction gives every tier its crisp, ridged edge and lets the light pick out the pleats. Paper is happiest kept dry, so an indoor spot away from damp suits them best. For styling, set the tallest and broadest trees towards the back and let the smaller ones step forward, or line all five up from tallest to smallest for a simple, graphic row. The styling props shown are not included.

The tallest is 22.5cm tall and 8cm across, the next 20cm tall and 12.5cm across, then two at 17.5cm and 12.5cm tall, both 7.5cm across, and the smallest 9cm tall and 5cm across.

What are the trees made of?

They are made of paper, folded into ridged tiers, with a print finish. The whole set of five weighs 0.15KG.

What is included?

Do the trees stand on their own?
