Description

This is the Meridian cushion, a large square in plain velvet-feel fabric. The face and reverse are both a deep teal blue, and the piece is finished with a contrasting piped border in soft blush pink that traces the whole edge. It is made from 100% polyester, which gives the surface its dense, even nap and the light-catching sheen you can see across the cloth. At 45cm square it is a generous size, larger than the standard cushion, so it holds its shape well when propped against the back of a sofa.

A plain cushion earns its place by working with everything around it, and this one is built for that. Set it on a sofa or an armchair where the teal reads as a strong, confident block of colour, and the blush piping gives a quiet line of definition against it.
